Drilling holes in marble, granite, and tiles
Core drilling bits/hole saws are used for drilling granite, marble, tile, and artificial marble, such as drilling holes for electrical wiring, faucets, and countertops. They come in various sizes, have sharp blades for easy drilling, and produce smooth, clean cuts. They are durable for long-term use. Water lubrication is recommended when drilling marble and granite
Why is water needed for lubrication?
Because the heat generated during drilling can cause marble and granite to crack and be damaged, Siamtak recommends using water to maintain a cool temperature during cutting, preventing it from getting too high. This also helps to reduce dust generation
