Crystallo Quartzite, imported from Brazil, is a rare natural stone in translucent white, light gray, and warm beige tones, accented with light brown mineral veins. It boasts a striking, icy, mirror-like surface. Its high purity quartz results in a natural crystalline structure and translucency, creating a captivating sparkle when illuminated with backlighting
Design: The key feature is its translucency. When installed as a backlit panel, the crystal material emits a soft light, transforming an ordinary surface into a source of light and ambiance. Ideal for kitchen islands, countertops, bathroom sink counters, decorative walls, bar counters, and illuminated panels.
Surface Finish: High-polished finishes are popular, emphasizing a mirror-like shine. Honed/matte and brushed finishes are also available for projects requiring a softer and simpler character.

Quarried in Brazil, Cristallo Quartzite is an exotic natural stone defined by translucent white, pale grey and warm beige tones, delicately accented by subtle brown veining. Its defining character is its icy, glass-like appearance, resembling a crystallised frozen lake with enchanting movement and luminous depth.
Formed from quartz-rich sandstone transformed under intense heat and pressure, Cristallo is a metamorphic quartzite with exceptional hardness and durability. Its high, almost pure quartz content gives the stone its crystalline structure and natural translucency, allowing selected slabs to come alive when backlit.
Design
Cristallo Quartzite is selected for its natural translucency, where backlit installation can create an alluring and almost enchanting atmosphere. When illuminated, its crystalline body glows with soft architectural radiance, transforming the stone from a surface into a source of light, depth and ambience.

Disclaimer
Although Cristallo Quartzite has a very high quartz content, giving it excellent density, hardness and strength, its crystalline structure may contain natural fissures or weak points. This can make the material more sensitive during handling, cutting, transport and installation.
Once properly installed, the adhesive, substrate and support system help stabilise the stone and significantly reduce the risk of movement or separation.
