Black agate, also known as gray chalcedony, is a polycrystalline stone with a glassy, lustrous surface. Its natural patterns exhibit continuous gradient shading, creating a striking visual effect in decorative work. Agate is one of the seven precious gems (Sattaratna) in Buddhism and has been used as an amulet since ancient times, believed to promote career and financial advancement
