What is the difference between wet and dry sanding discs?
- Wet polishing pads are used with wet polishers for polishing to a high shine, removing scratches, scuffs, and hairline marks. They are available in grit sizes from 10 to 3000 to achieve the best possible finish on the stone
- Dry sanding discs are used for general grinding of decorative moldings without the need for water. They can be used for polishing without the need for molding compound. They can be used as a replacement for wet sanding discs and are suitable for use with angle grinders. The discs are arranged in order from 1 to 5, with number 1 being the coarsest
