Quartz

Synthetic quartz is a home decorating material made from a mixture of natural quartz and resin, along with synthetic dyes to create patterns similar to natural stone. It offers superior strength due to its synthetic quartz composition and lower porosity, resulting in a smooth surface. However, it is significantly cheaper than real marble and quartzite.

Siamtak imports and manufactures synthetic quartz with various patterns from around the world, offering Thai consumers a wide selection for beautiful home decoration at the lowest prices in the world

What is quartz?

Quartz is a synthetic stone produced using a mixture of 90%-94% quartz and 6%-10% resin and synthetic pigments. This results in a lightweight, durable material with customizable colors and patterns

Made primarily from natural quartz, synthetic quartz is durable, scratch-resistant, easy to clean, and less porous than natural stone. This makes it a comparable alternative to natural stone, and it's commonly used for kitchen countertops. However, installation in areas exposed to temperatures exceeding 150 degrees Celsius can cause damage due to its resin and polymer composition. Using heat-resistant coasters is therefore crucial to maintaining the stone's aesthetic appeal in the installed area

Quartz stone and its installation

Due to its durable, scratch-resistant properties and lower porosity compared to natural stone, which prevents the accumulation of germs and stains, it can be used in a wide variety of applications. These include kitchen countertops, islands, dining table tops, bathrooms, or even for applications that showcase the marble pattern, such as hallway walls or TV walls
